How a one-day event can simplify your housing search

This is a paid piece from Lloyd Companies.

Simplified: Looking for a new place? Lloyd Companies' upcoming Spring Parade of Apartments on Saturday, April 26 will give you access to more than 20 properties across town that you can tour in-person or virtually with no appointment needed. Here's everything you need to know.

Why it matters

  • The Parade of Apartments not only provides an easy way to view a lot of different properties, but it's also a good time to score some exclusive rent specials. Find a full list of available properties here.
  • There will be members of the leasing team available at the various properties to answer any questions you might have, and, as an added bonus, anyone who applies for a home during the parade will be entered to win a Visa gift card worth $100, $250 or $500.
  • This event will also give folks a first look at the new One2 building in downtown Sioux Falls, which has amenities including an elevated outdoor courtyard, underground parking and units ranging from studio to three-bedrooms.
"The weather is getting nicer, and people are excited to find a new home," Experience Manager Nikki Johnsen said. "So a day like this just makes it a really fun afternoon for you to just bob around the city and view all of the options that we have available."

Tell me more about the properties available

The event will feature all sorts of different property types – apartments, flats (like an apartment but with its own private entrance), townhomes – and will have properties on all sides of town.

Here's a look at just some of the roughly two dozen properties available to tour:

  • On the north side, you can tour the Yukon on Benson. This is another new property that has a combination of apartments and townhomes.
  • Downtown, you've got the brand new One2, as well as the Cascade at Falls Park, Uptown Exchange Lofts and more.
  • On the south side, tours are available at both Sawyer Pointe and The Commons.
  • On the west side, you can tour Windsor Heights and the Silos at Ellis Crossing.
  • On the east side, Lloyd has the largest number of properties available to tour including Willows Edge, Willows South and Willows East.

Can't make it in-person? You can also tour a number of the properties via live tours on the Facebook event page.

"We’re just trying to make this a very easy process for people who are interested in moving," Johnsen said.
