Simplified: The Harrisburg High School Tigers could certainly be in the 11AAA title game this year. They have road games at state runner-up Sioux Falls Lincoln and champion Brandon Valley during the regular season which will be true tests, but Harrisburg has an opportunity to build a solid season early on as the tougher part of their schedule is in October and November.

Itβs an extremely rare occurrence β both on the collegiate and high school level β when a football team returns all five starters on the offensive line.
But thatβs exactly the position the Harrisburg Tigers are in this fall as Easton Dekkers, Trever Smit, Dylan Frederick, Mason Hocks, and Caleb Zahn are all back for a deep, experienced line up front on offense.
The Tigers finished a respectable 6-5 last year and advanced to the state semifinals before a loss to eventual champion Brandon Valley. Harrisburg looks to build on that this season, and their experience up front will no doubt lead the way.
