- β VOTE. June 2 is Election Day in Sioux Falls, and I promise you there's more than just the governor's race on the ballot. This election will determine who leads Sioux Falls city government for the next four (or, let's be real, eight) years. So mark your calendar, make a plan, and go vote. Please. Pretty please with a cherry on top. It's so important. I worked so hard on this election guide to make it as easy as possible. No excuses. Go vote.
- Go cruisin' with the family. Hood Magazine is hosting the annual Family Fun Cruise this weekend with dozens of participating businesses. Start at the Outdoor Campus and grab a swag bag (you might recognize one of the brands featured!) And then hit as few or as many stops as you have time for β there's a wide variety of activities, bouncy houses, games, discounts, drawings and more. Find your guide to all the stops here.
- Hit up some garage sales. There's a handful of garage sales in the Cathedral neighborhood happening this weekend β details here. Plus, if you're looking for some outdoor gear, the Great Outdoor Store is also hosting a spring garage sale with gently used outdoor gear this weekend. Details here.
- πAll hail the queen. Remedy Brewing is bringing back Queen Bee Day β celebrating its Imperial Honey Cream Ale made with local South Dakota honey. The event will include live music, food, vendors and limited-release Queen Bee beer variants. It's all going down Saturday at Remedy. Details here.
- Do some yoga. The Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a free yoga class in the park at Lloyd Landing downtown in the Steel District. Bring your mat β no registration necessary. Details here. Can't make it this time? That's OK, they're doing it every Saturday throughout the summer.
