- A new library app. Siouxland Libraries last week launched a refreshed mobile app with a focus on enhanced user experience. The app allows users to add multiple library cards to one account, use mobile library cards for checkout, and search the library catalog. Users can also use the calendar feature in the app to reserve study and meeting rooms. You can find the app in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

- More Sioux Falls kids graduating. The Sioux Falls School District saw its highest on-time graduation rate in nearly a decade at 89%, per data presented to the board earlier this week. That's greater than both the Class of 2024 and the statewide graduation rate, both of which were 86%.
- More Sioux Falls kids taking AP, dual credit classes. School board members this week also got an update on how many students are taking Advanced Placement or dual credit classes. Last year, nearly 2,000 students took AP exams (hundreds with financial help from the district) with an 80% pass-rate. On the dual credit side, Sioux Falls kids earned more than 3,200 college credits.
