- The city wants to hear from you. The Sioux Falls City Council this week launched the National Community Survey to measure how residents rank the 'livability' of Sioux Falls. The survey will be sent to 3,000 randomly selected folks, and in early October, it'll be opened up to the general public online. - Minnehaha County nears final 2026 budget. County Commissioners this week got one last informational briefing on next year's budget. One of the last-minute changes includes a $100,000 increase funding for The Link triage center.
- What does the proposed budget mean for you? A homeowner with a property worth $300,000 will see an increase in taxes of about $31 in 2026.
