Thank you for subscribing to Sioux Falls Simplified. I promise there's lots of news to come, but for this first issue, I wanted to catch you up on my vision for this new digital news product.
What are we doing here?
The goal is to keep you up-to-speed on local news as quickly and easily as possible. Think of me as your in-the-know friend filling you in on the latest happenings in your community while you sip your morning coffee or scan your emails.
What kind of news can I expect?
That's a good question. It's maybe easier to start with what you won't see here. This isn't going to be where you find information on the daily crime log or on state or national politics. I'm focused on Sioux Falls: local governments, schools, nonprofits, cool people doing cool things, that kind of stuff.
My mantra is: No jargon, no opinion content, no B.S.
Cool. I dig it. What else should I know?
Good. We're going to get along just fine. The other thing you'll find here are stories from Sioux Falls Simplified partners. These are people who pay money to me to share their stories with you. That money makes it possible for me to share all these other news stories with you and keeps this email coming to your inbox at no cost.
These stories will always be labeled with a "Simplified Presents" tag, so you know which content is sponsored.
When do we start?
You'll see your first "official" newsletter hit your inbox Wednesday morning.

Yes. A couple quick things:
